hurt tonight when a pickup truck crashes through the front doors of a walmart in iowa. this all happening in pella -- where a 9-1-1 call came in just before 10 this morning regarding a truck that drove through the meat and grocery entrance of the store. a chaotic scene in and around the walmart. amanda/ron- authorities aren't saying much right now as it's investigation. but at this point they say they have no reason to believe the a shopping trip turning into terror. after a driver slams his truck into a walmart store. the pick-up truck ramming right through the front of this wal- mart just before ten o clock this morning. driving through the meat and grocery department-before coming to a halt right here. chief robert bokinsky, pella police department "of course it's a terrible incident. you have a number of people come to walmart shopping, grocery shopping, christmas shopping,

the holiday season is just a terrible thing." killing three people and sending the driver of the pickup truck and a victim to the hospital. a witness who works nearby describes what she heard just moments after. jackie jordan "we heard a looked over at wal-mart, saw people leaving the wal-mart, inside walmart. and then we heard over the loud-speaker that walmart announced please evacuate the building over the lo-s standing around outside." another witness headed to the store sharing this video to her facebook page. finding herself arriving to this scene of chaos instead. authorities unsure of what exactly caused the truck to crash-only saying they believe the crash was an accident. "at the time when it happened you just don't know what's happening." the shopping stop now a crime scene.

that's right--initially they thought they had minor smoke damage from the fire at rileys-- i'm told they scrubbed everything down and planned to re- open just days later-- only to find out--the damage was much deeper than it seemed. demolition-- nats of demo nearing completion--as "we thought we just had a little bit of soot damage and smoke saturdated with smoke smell. photos of a busy moose mcduffy's unrecognizable today-- "we miss everybody." and still have a long side walls, floor has to be replaced, one of our bathrooms the only closing--what will end up being around five months-is certainly a hit--but they say good things will come out of re-open with an updated look and food as a new option for customers-- something keeping staff positive about the future. killed in an eastern iowa mall will not be moving forward. alexander kozak -- a mall security guard -- shot and killed andrea farrington inside the coral ridge mall last year. kozak was convicted earlier this year. according to our coverage partners at the iowa city press-citizen -- the lawsuit alleged the mall failed to provide reasonable care and security for farrington. it also claimed the security provider was negligent in hiring kozak. the case was scheduled to go to trial next ar a man is facing charges tonight - accused of leading sheriff's deputies on a 45 minute chase through black hawk county. troy postel- vargason ended up in an area field after trying to avoid stop sticks. according to black hawk county officials, a deputy tried to stop a driver for blowing through a red light near dunkerton and raymond.

street and elk run road... he's now in custody. speeds over 100 miles per hour were reached there was a passenger in the car...but she is not facing charges no one was injured, and no cars were damaged an iowa high school basketball coach - facing charges, accused of drunk driving. 32-year-old justin einerson was pulled over shortly before noon on sunday mroning -- he's currently the boys basketball coach at lincoln high school in des moines. police say he was arrested after failing two breath test a former iowa businessman is now in jail... conviced of bank fraud. 52-year-old kelly freese was sentenced to three years in jail and has to pay more than one-million dollars to lincoln savings bank in waterloo. freese was indicted in 20-13 while living in brazil -- he returned to the u-s this year. he says he ran into financial trouble after buying brazilian land to farm.

the 19th ranked iowa state cyclones are back in actiona tonight at hilton colisium. the cyclones host the cincinnati bearcats in a game that tips off at 8 o'clock. the five and one cyclones will be playing for the first time since losing their first game of the season on sunday to eighth ranked gonzaga. the cincinnati bearcats also enter tonight's game five and one... with their only loss of the season coming three weeks ago on the road at number 21 rhode island... iowa state football fans are praying the clock has not struck midnight for star receiver allen lazard. today on twitter... lazard said... big announcement tomorrow...stay tuned. it is expected that lazard will announce he will return to ames for his senior season. allen lazard is coming off a junior campaign where he led the cyclones with 69 receptions for one-thousand - 18 yards and seven touchdowns. despite being bowl eligible for the
