rain, strong wind and possibly, yep, more snow. we have you covered with the heads up. we'll get you everything you need to know about that. >> if you check out at the bottom of your screen scrolling there are school closings and delays because of power outages and cleanups. 27 schools so far affected by that. let's get right to meteorologist brittney shipp. >> hard to believe people still without power and now tracking another system that could lead to more power outages. our feels like temperatures feeling like 20 degrees in philadelphia, 19 in allentown, 18 in doylestown. keep that in mind as you're getting ready to head out the door you need your thicker jacket because temperatures are still going to feel like they're in the 20s even at 8:00 and as

we get into the afternoon we start to push into the 40s with our actual temperatures. and it's still going to feel like we're in the high 30s this afternoon. 33 in cape may. so our wind gusts will be anywhere between 20 up to 25 miles per hour today and the big story is going to be as we push into wednesday the next nor'easter pushing in. we're not seeing any delays. east and west looks good. the north and high-speed line trolley service dealing with about 15 minute delays all across the board. doylestown train, 65, 12. and i'll check in with some drive times when i come back.

6:02. we're following two breaking news stories. if the first in bucks county. a firefighter rushed to the hospital after falling through the floor of a burning home. no one was in the house. we're trying to learn more about the firefighter's condition. we do know he was conscious when he was transported. as we get more information we'll bring it to you on-air and online. also breaking a woman and girl were hurt. this gunfire happened in the home. the 16-year-old we're told is in critical condition, the 26-year-old is stable. police say the shooter was invited into the home with two other men. investigators say the men took $4,000. new this morning we found peco crews hard at work clearing trees and limbs overnight that are still causing problems. a large degree knocked out power

here. the tree also blocked the road to drivers and a septa bus route. all over our area tens of thousands of people still without power three days after this storm. nbc 10's matt delucia live for us. matt, show us some of the damage you and those peco crews will be encountering this morning. >> reporter: well, i have some of it in my hand, vai. for the folks around here in havertown they've been trying to clean up as best as they can. over here you can see some of the utility lines and a giant utility pole that has crashed over here and was up rooted during that storm on friday. again, these folks have been busy over the weekend trying to clean up as best they can. only a couple of houses have power at this point. peco saying delaware county hit the hardest in terms of outages.

let's take a look at what people are dealing with throughout the area and what we have been seeing quite a bit of lately. you see the generators running, the chain saws going throughout the area. and the halverford ymca was helping people with phone charging and getting a shower. and they brought back in people from other states to get the power back on. and the county was telling residents the power might not be fully back on until wednesday or thursday. >> it's been 50 degrees in the house. we've lost power before but never for this long period of time. >> reporter: another problem is a lot of traffic lights are out in the area and roads are closed. for people heading back to school or work this morning it might be a little challenging

cosby case will argue more women should be allowed to testify against him in his next trial. prosecutors want to call as many as 19 other women to show the comedian had a five decade pattern of harming women. cosby's attorney say they'll and for the trial to be delayed. p80-yield is accused of sexually assaulting andrea constand almost 15 years ago. jury selection is scheduled for the end of this month. his daughter died in massachusetts from kidney disease. also happening it's a crime that shocked our region last summer when four men were found murdered on a bucks county farm. today three of the victim's families and their lawyers will be talking about the quest for

just justice. the families will announce what they call a major development. police in montgomery county are investigating a shooting by one of their officers in abington township. nbc 10 has learned it started when a woman with stab wounds went into the mckinley fire department for help. police later confronted a man they say had a gun and refused to put it down. officers shot the man. we're working to find out his condition, the woman's condition and how they're connected. happening today, habitat for humanities is partnering up with a faith based organization. now, together they will work to repair 20 homes with help from a $500,000 investment from pnc bank. 30 degrees outside. let's get you started with sunshine today and the heads up about the next thing coming down the pipe. look at that blue sky. this is allentown.

>> as we go into the rest of today we are going to see cold conditions, cold and sunny for us. wind chill is definitely going to be a factor with wind speeds anywhere between 15 to about 20 miles per hour, gusting to about 30 miles per hour throughout the morning. cloudy conditions expected for us on tuesday, and the big talker is going to be our second nor'easter moving into the forecast by wednesday. here's part of the system here going to bring blizzard conditions to the dakotas and plain states tracking east here, and then we'll see another system developing off the coast. the two will combine and move closer to us, and this is where we're going to get our next big storm from. we're tracking either a wintery mix or snow. earlier models are suggesting as the atmosphere starts to cool down some of the heaviest snow could happen right over your wednesday evening commute. so we are expecting dangerous conditions as you're trying to make it home for work.

so of course we'll keep you updated on that, the possibility of another round of power outages. and some folks don't even have their power back from the system on friday. late tuesday is when this could start moving into wednesday. gusting up to 40 miles per hour. the concern is going to pea coastal flooding and also the potential for heavy snow over your wednesday evening commute. right now temperatures on the cold side. 30 degrees in trenton and mount holly. over the next 12 hours or so you'llinates our temperatures will get into the mid-40s. but our feels like temperatures will stay between 38 to 40 degrees. trenton 45 degrees, ocean city, 46. coming up we'll talk more about

ilproi improve relations. today the florida senate is expected to pass a watered down version of the bill that does not include a ban on assault weapons or the sale of large capacity magazines. the bill does include a ban on bump stocks, a voluntary program to arm teaches, millions of dollars in funding for schools and raising the age to buy a rifle to 21. the bill still has to go to the house for a vote. today marks president trump's daca deadline, but nothing is likely to change with the immigration protection law. last month the president pledged to end if lawmakers did not act by today. the u.s. supreme court up held the rulings by those courts which means 700,000 immigrants

who already had permits can legally apply to renew them. investors will focus on wall street later this morning after president trump's hint at a trade war led to a wild ride for stocks on friday. the markets responded to the president's announcement of new tariffs on steel and aluminummism they could also hurt partners like mexico where most of our steel comes from. president trump has not foelg officially signed off on the tari tariffs, but it may happen later this week. jess, what are you see? watching route 73 and our cameras right around the atlantic city expressway, a nice empty shot actually. a good drive here. 73 down at the bottom there. so we're not seeing any problems or hearing of any report. same goes for 42. not even seeing any delays yet

at least headed towards the philadelphia area. five minute trip and speeds into the 60s. watch for something blocking the road out in wor chester on weber road. now let's take you live outside and show you the conditions in camelback at the ski resort there at 6:17. snow making for sure. beautiful picture of the morning. that snow they're making there, mother nature could make for us. coming our way wednesday brittney shipp, right? >> that's right. here's a closer look at the break down. some of these take away points, not as windy as the last system that moved through but still tracking winds gusts up to 40 miles per hour. and the biggest impact is the potential for heavy snow on

wednesday. as we get colder air moving back into the system coming in from the north then we could see heavy snow right over philadelphia, parts of wilmingtoner where up through our suburbs north of west of philadelphia, lehigh valley and through the poconos. the question is this rain/snow line here, how far south it's going to go. again we're firming up all the detail, but we are watching the system and the track of this system to let you know what we can expect to get as we push closer to wednesday. but we do expect a lot of the moisture to musk in late tuesday and as we go through the day an wednesday we could expect heavy snow. lots of people still in our area don't have power from the last system. tree limbs could snap. once again we have extremely saturated soil.

at the jersey shore this weekend a scare forced an vacation in seaside park ocean county. police say they got a call of what looked like a grenade on the beach there. the bomb squad checked it out and turned out to be a toy. not sure if someone left it there or washed in during a storm. good morning, everyone. joikts with you right now checking on the roads. looks pretty quit out there. both directions on the schuylkill look okay. we are seeing some delays in new jersey. i have cameras hooked right on those spots. for now let's get a check on today's forecast. today forecast is going to be on the cold side. ocean city, our windshield chills today are going to make it feel like we're in the 30s. i'm tracking big changes on the way with a second nor'easter back in your forecast.

allentown. we'll see wind speeds staying strong and breezy conditions expected towards the afternoon. closer look at your neighborhood highs today starting off in bethlehem, 46 degrees will be the high, pa suburbs, 46 degrees in westchester. you have to factor in that wind speed. so our actual feels like temperature is going to be closer to the high 30s. haddonfield, 44 will be the high today. jersey shore, atlantic city 46 degrees. avalon expect temperatures around 45 degrees. >> we're watching 95 our cameras to start north and south, our cameras right around columbus. drive times here are pretty much okay at least moving towards center sit afrom the southbound side from woodhaven to the vine a little slow but typical.

watch for a crash on upper dublin. high-speed trolley service 15 minutes late. for the local service there also 30 minute delays. trenton train 7218 running about 51 minutes late. we're following breaking news out of bucks county this morning where a firefighter has been rushed to the hospital after falling through the floor of a burning home on henry avenue. no one was in the house. we're trying to learn more about the firefighter's condition, but we do know he was conscious as he was transported to the hospital. as we get more information we'll let you know on-air and online on our free nbc 10 app. police were called to the apartments in southwest philadelphia around midnight. they found the victim with a

gunshot wound to her knee. she was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. and no one is in philadelphia. a fight at a crescent mills beer store leads to gunfire and now two men are in the hospital in critical condition. it started around 11:00 p.m. five men started fighting. one man pulled out a gun and shot two victims in the chest before running off. no one is in custody. and right now tens of thousands of homes and businesses across our area is still in the dark. the power is out, trees are down and the workweek begins with a lot of cleanup ahead. nbc 10's matt delucia in havertown with a closer look at the damage. i know you've moved to old westchester pike. what is it like there? >> reporter: well, tracy, you can see behind me what the damage is like that remains three days after that nor'easter. this is old westchester pike.

and right over across the way you can see that's westchester pike, which is open. but you've got a lot of roads like this where you have wires down, debris on the roadways throughout delaware county. and delaware county still being hit the hardest in terms of power outages. take a look at video from the past couple of days. we've been hearing a lot of those generators and chainsaws going. halverford ymca had been helping. people pitching in anyway they can, welcoming folks into their home so they can get in out of the cold because there's no power. the county here delaware county has been telling residents power might not be fully back on until wednesday or thursday. so we'll give you another live look here. again this is old westchester pike here in havertown. you also have a lot of traffic

against bill cosby. >> dray clark is live on what cosby can expect ahead of his retrial on his sex assault charges. >> reporter: his legal teechl has very high hopes that the case against cosby will be dismissed when they make their motions today. but legal experts say that's a really long shot from happening. meanwhile what's happening today, that hearing is significant because of both what the defense is prosecution is asking for. today couldhbm the first time we see bill cosby publicly since the recent death of his daughter from kidney failure here. about that hearing, first the prosecution, they are hoping the judge will allow as many as 18 women to testify in the upcoming retrial. ia may recall in the original trial only ondegreandrea consta

one other accuser were allowed to testify. also that defense team led by former michael jackson aattorney tom -- can prove she was not around. they maintain she has her time line mixed up and she was mistaken. cosby has pleaded not guilty to that allegation, and his first trial ended with a hung jury. now two days have been set aside to allow the attorneys to make these motions in court and then, of course, the judge will make his ruling. no timetable on when that will happen. meanwhile, jury selection is scheduled for march 29th for the upcoming retrial. dray clark, nbc 10 news. allentown's now convicted

mayor is reportedly starting a letter writing campaign to per sway the judge to impose a lighter punishment. a jury convicted him on thursday in a pay to play scheme. he rigged city contracts in order to raise money for his campaign. and pawlowski says he has hundreds of supporters who will write the judge on his behalf. sentencing date has not yet been set. police responded to the chuck e. cheese in depford township. a restaurant employee who was hurt while trying to break up the fight is also recovering. investigators are looking into the cause of that brawl. the american red cross flag is flying aboard the battleship new jersey in camden. red lights will light up the

battleship for the rest of the month to honor everyone who's made the humanitarian mission possible. 6:38 right now. 30 degrees in philadelphia. but let's take you down the shore and show you the cape may lighthouse. it's always pretty this time of morning down the shore. yeah, let's find out what's to come down the shore, lights going off and wherever you live brittney shipp has you covered with that. >> late tuesday night into wednesday is when we track our next potential nor'easter. cold and sunny, and breezy conditions will stick around so our feels like temperatures will stay in the 30s. cloudy conditions expected for us tuesday ahead of that system, and then wednesday that's what we're watching. this is part of the system here starting to work its way through the dakotas and head to the

east. and second system is going to develop and the two are going to interact together and bring us moisture and also colder air so we have a classic nor'easter setsp. it looks like after 9:00, 10:00 that's when we start to see the moisture moving in. we start to see it parts right here off the coast and could help pull-down a lot of the cold air. and this is when we have the potential to see heavy snow. take a look at the timing on this. this could be right over your wednesday evening commute. so this is what we're watching for you as we go into the next 24 to 48 hours, the potential for a really dangerous commute wednesday evening. wind gusts or sustained wind speeds anywhere between 0 to 30 miles per hour, gusting up to 40 miles per hour. coastal flooding is a possibility. the biggest impact potentially heavy no right over your

today a philadelphia community will come together to remember a hero killed in the line of duty. a vigil will be held for sergeant robert wilson iii. the officer was killed in a shootout at a game stop on march 5, 2015. and the parkland students and their community are getting a dose of compassion from the flyers on their road trip. >> they invited the stoneman douglas hockey team to the game. you can see him hanging out with the kids after the game. >> it's the least i could do. again, i got to thank the panthers for setting it up and

in terms of our wind speeds where we saw wind gusts up to 60, 70 miles per hour. we are forecasting wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour. some coastal flooding and potentially heavy snow of your wednesday evening commute. the system is going to come up from the south, interact with another system that's bringing a lot of snow to parts of the great lakes. and as we go into tuesday night that's when we see a bit of moisture moving through. right now what we're seeing here by wednesday evening as this low here, this coastal low spins off the coast here, we start to see that cold air coming in, and potentially the heavier snow could fall over your wednesday evening commute. we definitely want to give you a heads up we are expecting another round of potentially dangerous conditions over your wednesday. tough to remove this snow when it falls. power outage risk is back, and

also tree limbs could snap once again. we just have had so much snow in the month of february and the beginning of march. and evening commute this is what we track for you today. philadelphia 30 degrees and south jersey in the 30s as well. but our feels like temperatures today will push into the mid-40s, will feel like the 30s. by 1:00 still just feeling like 35 degrees for philadelphia. pa suburbs going to feel like 33 degrees when you head out for your lunch hour. when you head home it's going to feel like it's in the mid-30s. closer to delaware still feeling like 37 degrees for your lunch hour. jersey shore, 31 degrees. so there are aour future wind gusts. good things these wind speeds
